My name is Sabra (pronounced Say-bra). I am a wife and a Mom of three children. Current Ages 5, 4, and 2. My life has changed DRASTICALLY in the last few years. I went from a super-duper goal oriented, workaholic woman then *BOOM* Mommy. Mommy again…and again. I have finally had a chance to look up from changing diapers and evaluate where I’m at now. 🙂 Since I’ve come out of my baby-induced haze, I realized that I had lost a large part of my self identity after becoming a Mom. Every day I’m getting back to the new, happier, mommy-version of me.
In “real life,” my job is in customer service. I genuinely love solving problems and being helpful! I used to be an assistant manager at a retail store, so I’m kinda bossy.
Pre-children, I was a voracious reader. That is to say, I could sit down and devour a book in just a few hours. Now-a-days, it is difficult for me to concentrate, to say the least. I still enjoy my hobby of reading, except I consume it in a different form now. On my commute to work, I listen to audio books. 🙂
My friends and family know that I’m up for a road trip anytime! I will not hesitate to jump in the car and hit the road for a concert or weekend away. My husband and the rest of the family help out with the kiddos often so that I can still scratch my travelin’ itch.
I tend to repeat myself. A lot.
I often suffer from “Mommy Memory Loss” which is caused by lack of sleep.
I am a Goal Junkie! I love to create goals for myself. I dream big and I go “all in” to make those goals a reality. I am constantly looking to improve. My favorite section of any bookstore is the Self-Help aisle!
I have a tendency to repeat myself. Ha. Ha. (See what I did there?)
I am really looking forward to sharing my thoughts and ideas with you. I want you to know that I intend to create a space for Moms to encourage and uplift each other. Welcome to my little corner of the Internet! I hope you enjoy what you read.
Before you go…
